What can the blockchain do?
A few examples:
Direct money transfers without banks and without high fees. Fast, simple and secure.
Highest security. There is a $3.5 million reward for anyone who can hack the Bitcoin blockchain. To date, no one has managed to do so.
Reconciliations
The blockchain makes it possible to conduct all votes absolutely securely and with minimal effort for all participants. No need to go to the ballot box, no counting of votes.
Leasing
Imagine that every leased vehicle is linked to a smart contract (lease agreement). If you don't pay your leasing installments, the vehicle is automatically blocked for further use. If you then pay your installment via smartphone, for example, the vehicle is unlocked within seconds.
Energy contracts
Until now, if you own a solar system, you always have to bill an energy company. With the blockchain and smart contracts, you can, for example, sell electricity directly to your neighbor or purchase it from him. No intermediary is needed anymore.
Music rights
For a piece of music, the copyrights etc. are stored in the blockchain. The composer can do this himself and thus preserve his rights.
Transaction ID, sender, recipient and time are stored in the blockchain. No one can send an email in my name anymore. Spam mails are excluded.
uvm!
